Welcome to Clean Cutting Board (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, cleancuttingboard.ca (the “Site”), and any purchases, orders, or services provided by Clean Cutting Board (the “Services”). By accessing or using our Site or Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or Services.
1. General Use of the Site and Services
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services.
By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Site with the effective date.
2. Custom Cutting Boards (No Return Policy)
All custom-cut boards are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Once a custom board is cut and/or used, it cannot be resold due to the risk of cross-contamination.
Please confirm measurements and specifications carefully before placing your order. We are not responsible for incorrect specifications provided by the customer.
3. Standard Boards (Subway, Tim Hortons, etc.)
Standard replacement boards may be eligible for return only if:
The board has not been used, and
There is a genuine fit issue with the equipment.
Boards that show signs of use (scratches, food residue, knife marks, or wear) are not eligible for return or exchange.
4. Shaving & Resurfacing Services
Customers must provide boards that are clean and dry prior to service.
Failure to do so may result in denial of service or an extra cleaning fee of $50 per batch.
We reserve the right to deny service if:
Boards contain black mold, are unsanitary, or unsafe to handle, or
Boards are deemed too thin for proper shaving and safe future use.
During shaving, we will remove as much material as needed to bring the boards to Clean Cutting Board Standards for safety and hygiene.
We are not liable for boards that break or fail after shaving if they were already in poor or compromised condition.
5. Payment Policy
All invoices are due upon receipt.
A 2% monthly interest charge will apply to any past-due balances.
Payment is accepted via [insert accepted methods: e.g. credit card, e-transfer, cheque, etc.].
We reserve the right to suspend or withhold further services or shipments until outstanding balances are paid in full.
6. Social Media Policy
We may take photos or videos during board servicing (before and after images, process shots, etc.).
We reserve the right to use these materials on our website, marketing materials, or social media platforms to showcase our work.
Clients may request not to be personally identified (e.g., no names, staff faces, or identifiable company info in captions), but before and after images of boards may still be posted.
If clients prefer not to be mentioned or tagged, they may notify us in writing.
7. Limitation of Liability
Clean Cutting Board is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services.
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service in question.
Customers are responsible for ensuring boards are used, cleaned, and maintained according to food safety standards.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on cleancuttingboard.ca, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Clean Cutting Board and may not be copied, redistributed, or used without prior written consent.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of [Insert Province] and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in [Insert Province/City].
